The latest update on "Teen Wolf" season 5 brings fans to a not-so-shocking revelation: a resurrection of a "Teen Wolf" character.
A report by People revealed that "Teen Wolf" star Holland Roden who portrays the Banshee Lydia Martin has confirmed that indeed a character from previous seasons will return to season 5. Roden said, "As far as actors coming back, there's always so many different forms in which they can come back, but that's all I'll say."
In "Teen Wolf" season 3, Allison Argent played by Crystal Reed, died in the arms of Scott McCall (Tyler Posey). Colton Haynes' Jackson Whittemore left the show in season 2 as he joined another TV series "Arrow." This led fans to believe that the "returning" of characters is just among these two major cast members.
Although Allison Argent's wounds proved fatal, the show's mythology allows resurrection from death as what happened to Allison's aunt, Kate Argent, when she returned to season 3 after her death in season 1. However, executive producer Russell Mulcahy revealed a slightly different idea for season 4 and the returning cast members hinted by Roden.
In the same report, Mulcahy shared that "The people that didn't die, there's a chance they may come back. But I don't think we raise from the dead." This could mean that the returning cast member for "Teen Wolf" season 5 could be leaning more towards Colton Hayne's Jackson Whittemore than Crystal Reed's Allison Argent.
However, the latest trailer revealed that "Teen Wolf" season 5 will shatter relationships-initially thought of as Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Malia (Shelley Hennig). This new development on returning cast for season 5, however, puts the break-up perspective on a different light. If Allison does return, then will Scott and Kira relationship be put in jeopardy come "Teen Wolf" season 5?
