"Chicago Fire" left fans at the edge of their seats when the season 3 finale revealed a possible pregnancy and a shocking death.
Season 4 spoilers tease that the upcoming run will begin where it left off, possibly answering the mystery of who killed Katya, Dawson's whereabouts and Dawson's pregnancy.
"The stripper, Katya (Izabella Miko), was from a club where Casey was doing construction," Latin Post reported.
"According to TVLine, the shady club owner Jack Nesbitt (Eric Mabius) might be responsible for the murder. He was known in the show as a human trafficker as well and may have been out to get her."
"It is not clear if Casey was murdered to keep quiet, or kidnapped after Nesbitt found out that he was working undercover. Showrunner Matt Olmstead tells TVLine that he is leaving the idea of what happened to Casey open."
"Maybe both," Olmstead said. "We left it open, and we have a couple ideas on the board -- a combination of that or one of [those]."
Other "Chicago Fire" season 4 spoilers also hinted that Katya might have gone to Casey's to warn him about the impending danger he's about to face.
"Her being forced to go there and try to lure him out is a possibility," Olmstead added.
Meanwhile, a new series regular will be joining the crew next season. Reports confirmed that Dora Madison, who plays Jessica Chilton on the show, will be sticking around for good.
"The 'Friday Night Lights' alum joined the NBC drama in late April as a replacement for Mills, played by former series regular Charlie Barnett," The Hollywood Reporter said.
