Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" is making a lot of noise, especially after D23. Director Tetsuya Nomura revealed details about worlds, and how many more details including release date is just around the corner.
After the announcement that "Big Hero 6" world will be made available come "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date, fans have continued to ask what other maps will be available for fans worldwide. Design&Trend detailed the answers shared by "Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura based on his interview with Ruliweb.
The report pointed out that, "returning worlds from the original 'Kingdom Hearts' or 'Kingdom Hearts II' would be very limited. Specifically, his two favorite past creations, The Pride Lands and Halloweentown, won't make it into the final game."
Come "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date, the game will instead focus on bringing into the arena more Disney worlds, which would support the entire theme of the franchise that is bringing together classic characters from previous movies and TV shows as in Donald Duck and Goofy as Sora's wingmen.
While the other worlds have yet to be confirmed including "Tangled" and "Frozen" into "Kingdom Hearts 3," "Big Hero 6" has already been officially announced part of Sora's adventure. The same media revealed, "'Big Hero 6' is the latest world to be confirmed for 'Kingdom Hearts 3,' but it is by no means the first."
"Back during E3, Square Enix confirmed the world from 'Tangled' as another location players will get to visit," it said. "Disney's version of Ancient Greece from the film 'Hercules,' a location featured in both 'Kingdom Hearts' and 'Kingdom Hearts 2,' will also be returning."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" development began as early as 2006 and has continued to be one of the most beloved games of all time. And while there is no clear release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as of the moment, Nomura affirms his commitment to making another breath-taking experience for fans worldwide.
"Other elements, including the mini-games and other various smaller items; their progress is very varied...some of them are polished and very close to final state, but at the same time some elements are still in the planning phase and I haven't laid out the groundwork yet," shared Nomura in a report by Gaming Bolt.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" release date announcement is expected in the coming Japan D23 expo.
