"Final Fantasy 5" PC has finally been confirmed.

IGN reported that Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 5" PC is now available for pre-order on Steam. It is a port of the game's iOS and Android versions which were initially released on mobile last 2013.

"Final Fantasy 5" PC will have Steam achievements and trading cards. Its controls have also been updated to work better for PCs.

It will include all content which was added for the mobile releases as well as the Game Boy Advance version. "Final Fantasy 5" PC will also feature additional dungeon The Sealed Temple, an improved active-time battle system and additional Enuo boss by series director Tetsuya Nomura.

The PC remake will cost $16 during its launch on Sep. 24. Currently, 10% discount is available for those who pre-order the game.

"Final Fantasy 5" PC may not be the only remake in the works. Nomura has expressed his interest in recreating the series' sixth title as well.

"Considering that we have remakes of 'Final Fantasy' up to 'IV' and then we have 'VII' - I've been working with Mr. [Yoshinori] Kitase since 'Final Fantasy V,' and we've noticed that 'V' and 'VI' are missing," he said. "That bothers me. How come we skipped over those two?"

Last June, during E3 2015, the game series director has announced that the HD "Final Fantasy 7" remake is in development. It was confirmed that the game will be coming to PS4 first.

Nomura also admitted that the game will have more than just pretty graphics. "We can't talk about any further details, but it won't be a simple remake," he said.

"Even if we were only making the graphics prettier for a next-generation machine, I don't think it would exceed the original version. If that were the case, the original International version will be available on PlayStation 4, so you could just play that and be done."
