"Mr. Robot" season 2 release date has been rumored to be slated in June to July of 2016.

The series might be new, but it has developed into one of the most watched shows on USA Network.

Since its premiere, it has become one of the most critically acclaimed TV shows this year. Apart from its very interesting and unique plot, Rami Malek's portrayal of Elliot Alderson - a mentally troubled computer hacker - is regarded as one of the show's greatest gems, Franchise Herald noted.

Even before the show's pilot episode aired on the network, "Mr. Robot" season 2 release date in June to July of 2016 has already been confirmed. This only means to show that USA Network is confident with how the public will receive the show.

Although its second season will only be returning to small screens in almost a year, "Mr. Robot" fans are excited to find out what mind-boggling scenes Malek and Christian Slater are up to next. However, Malek admitted that he would much rather take things slow and not jump the gun with regards to assumptions about what could possibly happen when "Mr. Robot" returns.

"I hate to think about those issues because I feel like everything that we do touch upon ends up being something that can cause massive damage to our societies," Malek told Entertainment Weekly. "So, I would rather not anticipate the things that are going to happen."

Considering that "Mr. Robot" consistently tackles one of the most controversial issues of today, which is hacking and surveillance, Fortune is convinced that the cast of the show has started to grow a bit paranoid with regards to their online activities, too - especially after the Ashley Madison hack.

"The more I have worked on this show, the more I refrain from getting on the computer or on my phone," Malek told Vulture. "I realize just how fragile our information is and how susceptible it is to being compromised!"
