"Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date suggest a must-watch sequel.
Although Disney has yet to confirm any plot rumors circulating online as of writing, many are still believing that the follow-up flick will show more of the awesome partnership of the sisters.
If Elsa shone in "Frozen" with her icy attitude and powers to match, speculations are flying that the sequel will put the spotlight on Anna.
Although nothing has been set on stone as of writing, many are hoping to see Anna explore her superpower- if she has one- to match Elsa's.
Many are believing that the second movie will show just that, and with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee sort of addressing rumors of Anna's superpowers, only time can really tell how the story will unfold.
"We know what her superpower is: her superpower is love!" Buck said in an interview with HitFix. "She saves the day with love."
"You know, like a mama bear can raise a car off their kid with their super strength, love is very powerful," Lee added.
Other "Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date rumors also suggest that Anna might be the bad guy in the sequel.
"In August, it was reported that Anna might disentangle herself from her friends and go on her own, only seeing the negative side of Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf," Yibada reported. "These serve as effects of her frozen heart from the first film."
And while everything remains to be in the shadows as of the moment, Buck has shared that "Frozen 2" will have more of a societal impact.
"We have two very strong female leads in Frozen," he told MTV.
"We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with. I think we're very aware of what is happening in society. I don't think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people."
