New Frank Ocean album cancellation speculations have been debunked! Latest updates have now revealed that more tracks are being added. "Boys Don't Cry" IS coming, but how long is this delay going to last?

Latest updates have finally been revealed and while the new Frank Ocean album is still nowhere to be seen, it is coming after all. With an interview with LesInRocks, Pedro Winter of Ed Banger Records slipped about a mile when he revealed that the collaboration between Frank Ocean and french DJ SebastiAn is actually for the second album.

"SebastiAn just finished production on a few pieces for Frank Ocean-a truly exciting collaboration-and then he will finally be able to turn to his second album," he said. Initially, this news was connected to the idea that "Boys Don't Cry" will be a thing of the past (and not part of any history) as it was rumored to be cancelled after no news surfaced following the supposed release date.

However, with Winter confirming that the collaboration is intended for the second album brings news that 1) the July release date for the new Frank Ocean album was simply not met, 2) "Boys Don't Cry" isn't actually cancelled, just delayed and 3) more tracks are coming for the second album.

Frank Ocean announced the release of his new album titled "Boys Don't Cry" early this year, naming July as the D-day for release. However, July came, and August, then September and now it's mid-October and no news on the new album, bringing fans to believe that it has indeed been quietly cancelled, according to previous reports.

Soon after the slip-up, TheFader reported that Winter sort-of retracted the statement he offered and instead explained simply that there's a collaboration-for what it is, Frank Ocean needs to address these questions.

"But in a statement issued to The FADER, Winter played down his remarks: 'SebastiAn met Frank Ocean few times, that's all we know. For further infos please contact Frank's management'," the report revealed.
