Jamie Dornan and wife Amelia Warner may have caused the delay of the "Fifty Shades Darker" production with Dakota Johnson.
Apparently, the Dornans want to have more "family time" before the actor begins to film the much awaited sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Since the premiere of the EL James' raunchy book-to-movie adaptation earlier this year, Dornan and Warner have been the gist of many split rumors. According to the rumor mill, Warner was not a huge fan of Dornan's character, Christian Grey, in "Fifty Shades of Grey" and that she did not like the sex scenes that her husband had with his co-star, Johnson.
Although the Internet has constantly been abuzz with reports that the couple is experiencing marital problems, both Dornan and Warner took it upon themselves to slam these rumors. Now, new reports indicate that they are having their second baby soon, according to Fashion & Style.
With his focus on getting his wife pregnant, rumor has it that he adamantly requested "Fifty Shades Darker" film makers to push production for the film further back. Although this is in favor of the couple's baby-making plans, Movie News Guide has pointed out that it is a huge disadvantage for the movie's production time line.
Since Dornan requested to delay production, film makers had to suffice for getting the film's pre-production stages underway. It was James who revealed on social media that the film's crew are already hard at work in order to meet its February 2017 scheduled release date.
Other factors that contributed to the delay includes the casting of the film's other significant characters, such as Leila Williams, Jack Hyde, and Mrs. Robinson. As of the moment, these characters have not yet been given to any celebrities. However, it is worth noting that the rumor mill is abuzz with speculations that Mrs. Robinson is going to be Charlize Theron, Leila will be Alexis Bledel, and that the Jack Hyde character will be given to Ian Somerhalder.
