Fans are in for a treat this 2016 as Beck new album 2016 is on track to hit music stores this year.
As per the reports on gig wise, Beck is back in the studio. So does this mean that the wait for the new album is over?
In Dec. 2012 Beck explained that he has big plans and he will be releasing two new albums within one year. According to him, One will be recorded in Nashville which I may or may not finish" and the other "sonically dangerous."
If the readers look at Beck's journey, in June 2013 he mentioned that out of the two albums one is acoustic and the other is studio. The 'acoustic' one turned out to be the Grammy winning 'Morning Phase' which was released in Feb. 2014.
Beck not only celebrated the success of his album with his Music fraternity, he also treated his entire staff at The Capitol to a Waffle breakfast. Beck seems to be one of those artists who gives value to fellow human beings and appreciates the efforts of everyone in his crew.
As per Billboard, the award-winning musician released the track 'Dreams' on June 15, 2015 which he affirmed was the first song from his recently released 10th studio album in an interview with Alt 98.7 in Los Angeles.
"Morning Phase" had an undertone of folk presence. In "Dreams" the mix of guitars and thumping drums ruled the arena.
Since "Morning Phase" won three Grammy Awards in 2015 and including a surprising (and controversial) win for the album of the year, Beck wants to create something keeping the theme of this album in mind. He wants to come up with his new creation which he can play live.
While talking about this untitled album Beck mentioned, ''the upcoming set will be 'probably the opposite [of Morning Phase]. I was really trying to make something that would be good to play live. It started as kind of this heavy garage-rock kind of thing, and it became much more dance or some other kind of hybrid. It's just kind of this raw energy thing, and this has a beat as well."
