Fans will have to wait for the continuation of Geralt's adventures as CD Projekt RED will now focus on their newest venture, "Cyberpunk 2077."
As reported by christiantoday way back in Aug. 2015, the game ''Witcher 4'' is not coming anytime soon.
According to Marcin Iwiński, the co-founder and joint CEO of the game's developer, CD Projekt Red, the company has not even begun to think about the next instalment of the franchise.
Iwiński also mentioned that, the "Witcher" franchise deserves to rest for a while. Iwiński talked about the amount of time CD Projekt Red's developers have already spent on making the games in the franchise. He indicated that the team has spent most of the last decade just focusing on that particular series.
Despite Iwiński suggesting that a new "Witcher" game is not coming out anytime soon he talked about the enormous opportunities within "The Witcher 3" and indicated that there could easily be more stories extracted from that plot.
''The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'' by CD Projekt RED was released in May 2015. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Prior to this there were two other releases- ''The Witcher'' and ''The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings''.

On 7 April 2015, CD Projekt RED announced two expansion packs for the game titled ''Hearts of Stone'' and ''Blood and Wine''. Hearts of Stone was released on Oct. 13, 2015, and ''Blood and Wine'' is expected to release in early 2016.
Hence, until ''Blood and Wine'' is not released, ''Witcher 4'' will not be conceptualized.
YHM had done a report on the release of Cyberpunk 2077 which is also developed by CD Projekt RED and will not come out in the market soon. It looks like there are other priorities for CD Projekt RED as of now and the fans of the "Witcher" franchise have to wait for a while.
