The last time fans of the hit anime TV series "D.Grey-Man" saw their favorite protagonist was in 2008. More than seven years have passed and the story of Allen Walker is yet to continue. Fortunately, recent announcements point to another amazing series and adventure of our hero with a powerful left arm.

Anime News Network reported the announcement of Katsura Hoshino, the creator of "D.Grey-Man," regarding the adaptation of his popular manga into anime TV series. Hoshino made the announcement in his official Instagram account which also reveals additional details of the anime adaptation.

Fans wondering how the long hiatus would affect the continuation of the story, Hoshimo provided tidbits on how the story would unfold. The creator confirmed that it will be a continuation where the story has left off. But since it will feature a different cast, how the story unfolds might be a bit different.

This is actually good news for the fans. According to goboiano.com, a "key visual" has been posted online regarding the show's storyline continuation and it points to a very specific arc: the Alma Karma arc. Aside from the revelation of the key visual, fans are also excited about the adaptation because there are more than 200 manga chapters that could be covered by the anime.

The forum about the show at My Anime News Network is glad that the number of episodes would mean less filler. User Lycosyncer noted that "with about more than 200 chapters to catch up to, at least we will be with no fillers for a very long while."

There is no official announcement yet on when will the anime TV series returns to the small screen. But the announcement from the manga's creator and the release of concept art means that the anime TV series will be back very soon.
