Aamir Khan was in the news again but this time, it was not his wife, Kiran Rao's remarks on intolerance or for the end of contract of the ''Incredible India'' campaign. It was for his support to the sizzling Sunny Leone.
DNA reported that in a recent interview with PTI, the 34-year-old Indo-Canadian actress said that she does not think Aamir would like to work with her. Her comments had brought a lot of wave in the media.
She was at the receiving end of harsh questions about her professional choices after this TV interview. Sunny is an ardent fan of the "3 Idiots" star and always harboured dreams of working with him.
"I think anybody in the entire world would like to work with an actor like him. He is someone for whom I have immense respect. Regardless of what happens in the future, I will always be Aamir's fan. I have always said that I am a fan of Aamir and I always watch his movies," Leone said.
Khan, later tweeted that he would be very happy to share screen space with Sunny and he also loathed the way the interviewer asked questions to Leone.
"I think Sunny conducted herself with a lot of grace and dignity. I wish I could have said the same about the interviewer," Aamir Khan tweeted.
While talking about the sweet gesture of Aamir Khan tweeting and expressing his wish to work with the former adult star Leone, ''I can't express in words how happy I am. It was a very sweet and amazing gesture by him because as actors we all live in a bubble. He took his phone out and expressed his opinion... He supported me and it's a great feeling," Sunny told PTI.
Indian Express and India today also reported that the ''PK'' famed actor Aamir spoke out in support of actress Sunny Leone. Catch News reported that after this incident, the ''Jism 2'' famed heroine Leone will be a fan of Khan for life.
