The popular American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey and Australian billionaire James Packer announced their engagement on Jan. 21, 2016. However, all does not seem to be well in the relationship.
Apparently the duo seems to be planning their forthcoming wedding. E Online talked about the expensive ring which Carey was presented with on her engagement with Packer. Apparently the engagement ring cost $7.5 million USD. So will the duo be lucky for the third time? Mail online talked about their whirlwind romance and quick decision to tie the knot.
Mariah was married to Mottola and Nick Cannon earlier. She separated from Mottola in May 1997 and took a divorce from Cannon on Dec. 12, 2014. Carey gave birth to her twins Monroe and Moroccan with husband Nick Cannon. Cannon congratulated the couple on Facebook when Carey got engaged to Packer.
Carey and Packer started dating sometime in 2015 and as per the last report on TMZ, she moved in with him in Nov. 2015. They were spotted vacationing together.
The ''Queen of Christmas'' Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" again topped the charts and the duo seemed very happy in each other's company.
Even Packer was doing well in his business and was reported planning to privatise Crown Resorts casinos with private equity and pension funds.
However, it seems that Carey is upset with playing the second in the lead to Packer all the time. Inquisitr reported about some storms in the fairy-tale romance of the ''Precious'' singer Carey and the owner of ''Consolidated Press Holdings Limited'' Packer.
