Fans of the English rock band, Arctic Monkeys, are in for a treat as they will be unveiling a new album once the second quarter of 2016 hits.
The Arctic Monkeys official website mentioned that Alex Turner and Miles Kane will release their new album on Apr. 1, 2016. It will be entitled ''Everything You've Come to Expect.'' Turner and Kane, with their band name, ''The Last Shadow Puppets'' will come up with some shows in the UK in July too.
Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Miles Kane came together to release ''The Age of the Understatement'' way back in 2008. According to the latest report by pitchfork, they have released some teasers for their new upcoming album this 2016. This single entitled ''Spring 2016" is all set to rock the music arenas.
Baeblemusic also shared a teaser for the upcoming album. The new track "Bad Habits" and a video directed by Ben Chappell will surely please the lovers of Alex Turner and Miles Kane's music. The single is defined as "a roaring, lusty piece of bass driven rock."
The original members of ''Arctic Monkeys'' consisted of Alex Turner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar), Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals), Jamie Cook (lead guitar, rhythm guitar) and Nick O'Malley (bass, backing vocals), Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals).
Meanwhile, on the Arctic Monkeys official Facebook page, it was announced that their show in Indonesia, Jakarta on Jan. 26, 2016 was cancelled.
As per the official Facebook page, Matt Helders has recorded drums for the new Iggy Pop record, "Post Pop Depression" which is scheduled to be released Mar. 18, 2016.
NME also reported about the possibility of Turner and Kane coming up with a new album in 2016.
