June could be the D-day for the new album of Radiohead. Release date announcement coming in their Primavera performance in Spain?
Previous reports have already revealed that the new album of Radiohead has been completed. According to a Reddit report, Radiohead members have put in full effort to make sure the new album is completed, and it has been.
Radiohead member Johnny Greenwood allegedly released this statement: "We have finished recording the new album, but we keep listening to it and change the views on the recorded material. We hope that soon we will have exactly finish it and start building plans for a next year tour."
Talking to PitchFork, the only Radiohead member who is trained in classical instrument added that it did take a while to complete the new album. He said, ""We didn't do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time," Greenwood pointed out.
Now, what remains to be answered is the release date if indeed Radiohead has completed the production for their new album.
Latest reports on the release date of the Radiohead new album has pointed out that it's not a long wait after all. According to a report by DIYMag, June a momentous day for Radiohead fans as this could be the day the music will come. "In the official statement for Primavera, the festival confirms that we'll be seeing: "The presentation of the new album by the British band Radiohead"," said the report.
Primavera Sound 2016 will be happening between June 2 and 4, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Radiohead has already listed this event as one of their performances of this year. If this does push though, the report pointed out that the new album could be released sometime before June 1, in time to perform songs from the new album.
