For the last few days, the media is full of reports of Kanye West and Taylor Swift's feud. So what exactly is the reason for the feud between the famous singers again? Was it just a publicity stunt or was Swift really upset?

Kanye West streamed his new album ''The Life of Pablo'' on Feb. 11, 2016 (Thursday) at Madison Square Garden and the lyrics of his song ''Famous'' talked about his romantic and physical relationship with ''1989'' famed singer Taylor Swift.

"For all my Southside n - s who will know me best/ I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why I made that bitch famous/ God damn/ I made that bitch famous," were the lyrics of the single and West rapped to it. News.com.au reported that Taylor's brother Austin Swift took to Instagram to express his discomfort.

"Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again," wrote Austin. Twitter and social media were full of stories of taking sides. Apparently Jaime King, the American actress and model stood by Taylor.

Model Gigi Hadid also expressed her loyalty to Swift. "My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty," said Hadid.

As per the latest story on Hollywoodlife, Taylor's boyfriend Calvin Harris asked her to come out of the media galore and not wash the dirty linen in public. "Calvin thinks that Taylor should handle ending her feud with Kanye privately and not in a public setting like the Grammy Awards," a source close to Taylor mentioned.

E online reported that Selena Gomez who is a good friend of Taylor Swift apparently was upset with the lyrics.

"Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account.

She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message," Taylor Swift's representative told E! News.

Sydney Morning Herald mentioned that Swift never approved of the lyrics however West claims that she did. West thought the lyrics were ''funny'' and it was ok to call her a ''bitch'' in the lyrics. "She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous' '' clarified Swift's representative.

So is this a beginning of another feud between the stars? On Twitter, there is a long list of messages which West has written. ''I did not diss Taylor Swift and I've never dissed her...'' tweeted West. So is it an apology or clarification?

Now with the iHeartRadio Awards coming up, what repercussion will this have on the image of Swift?
