The fans of the TV series ''Vikings'' were very happy on Feb. 18, as the season 4 of this popular show was premiered on History Channel.
The episode is entitled "A Good Treason" and was written by the popular screenwriter and producer Michael Hirst. Rollo was shown being jealous of his brother Ragnar which was expected. It was reported sometime back in the spoilers that in this season Rollo might join hands with Emperor Charles.
Forbes reported about the premiere in details. The gory man slaughter of the entire clan had made the betrayal so bitter. So will Rollo be powerless in the end? Or was it a well-planned Vikings scheme? The Queen Aslaug now is planning to take charge. The episode also shows Floki who was a shipbuilder in the past and enjoyed a good life. However, the turn of events had converted him into a traitor.
Bjorn got Floki arrested in this episode which came as a shock for the viewers. The charges put on him were for the murder of Athelstan. Betrayal of Lagertha's vassal Einar might lead to dire consequences in the future. The viewers had mixed reaction about the break-up of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick).
Inquisitr mentioned about the upcoming episodes. When the writer Michael Hirst was asked about how he would like to portray Ragnar's relationship with Aslaug, he talked about his plan in details.
"It's been a difficult marriage. As all the fans of the show know, Aslaug's appearance disrupted what had looked like and what was a very, very deep and long-standing love between Ragnar and Lagertha'' stated Hirst. ''I always say that I'm kind of with the fans who want them to get back together, and it's always a grief to me that I'm not putting them back together."
So what will happen in episode 2 "Kill the Queen" which will be aired on Feb. 25, 2016? Since the drama is intensifying, watch this space for more.
