Jeremy Lin's foe on the hardcourt may not just be the bench anymore. There are reports that with the entry of Courtney Lee into the team, the Linsanity may purportedly lose more chances in getting more minutes to play at Charlotte Hornets games.
According to Sportige, with a new player coming in, it would be apparently be a miracle if Lin still got to play at least 25 minutes. But it was noted as well that despite the seeming threat of a new player, the Harvard University graduate was still important as a secondary option especially when Kemba Walker doesn't perform well.
On Sunday as told by ESPN, the Charlotte Hornets continued its winning streak beating the Brooklyn Nets, 104-96. Jeremy Lin contributed into the game scoring 11 points as told by CBS Sports. What was even more impressive was the Linsanity got to play in the game for 31 minutes -- much longer than Courtney Lee
It was mentioned in one report that Lee's debut was cut short due to his apparent poor performance. It was also observed that when he was on court, the Hornets were losing as compared to when Lin was playing and the team got a boost in the points.
While Jeremy Lin did well during the Charlotte Hornets game on Sunday, when Courtney Lee made his debut, the Linsanity's shooting skill was once again grilled. Despite this, fans shouldn't worry as his shooting coach has recently revealed he planned to improve that skill of the point guard very soon.
"Technically I want to help him get the arc on his shot right, get his balance nice and solid, and check out his ball alignment," Doc Scheppler told Hoops Habit about his plans for the player come the NBA All-Star Break.
"Jeremy has had a habit since high school of kicking his feet forward when he shoots instead of letting them flow forward naturally," he continued. "That's something I want to correct. I also want work on the efficiency of how he shoots and get his form tight and compact."
