Rachel Bilson apparently was willing to be separated from her baby with Hayden Christensen, Briar Rose, to make time for a "The O.C." reunion.
In a recent interview, the 34-year-old actress admitted that she has been away from Hollywood for some time now because of her focus on her baby, Briar Rose.
"I choose my projects very, very selectively," she told AOL in January. "It has to be worth spending time away from my family. I haven't worked yet since she's been born, in terms of acting. It has to be something worth the time away."
One of those that would be worth Rachel Bilson's time away from Hayden Christensen and baby Briar Rose was a "The O.C." reunion.
"It would be fun to get everybody together again," she pointed out. "It's been so long. Why not? I'm still close with (creator) Josh Schwartz."
But while the "Hart of Dixie" actress was open to a reunion just like other co-stars Adam Brody and Ben McKenzie, her on-screen BFF wasn't willing to be a part of one if it did happen.
"No," Mischa Barton told Entertainment Tonight last September. "I doubt very much [that will happen]."
"I just think that those characters had a life of their own and they burned out very fast because they were such fascinating characters," she also pointed out. "Every time you try to replicate something it doesn't really happen, and after 'The O.C.' there were a slew of things like it [that were] more salacious even."
While Barton was done with "The O.C.," Hayden Christensen's partner Rachel Bilson continue to talk about the TV series. In another interview last month, she even shared her thoughts about her character Summer Roberts.
"It was really fun creating Summer and she definitely had some crazy, elaborate looks," she told Teen Vogue. "The Wonder Woman look was the most iconic Summer moment, which was crazy and more makeup than I ever wore in my life. It's fun to think back on that."
