The 78 year old veteran actor Morgan Freeman is always identified with his voice. He has recently lent his voice to the popular Israeli GPS driving app Waze in the US. Also his latest movie ''London has Fallen'' is expected to do well in the theatres.
As per the latest update on jpost, the ''Evan Almighty'' famed actor Freeman joined the band-wagon of actors like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kevin Hart, who have already lent their voice to Waze app. It is expected that this announcement will do good for his latest movie ''London has Fallen.''
Waze which was founded in 2007 was acquired by Google in 2013. Mobipicker too has referred to Freeman's voice as the ''Voice of God'' as he had played the role of God in ''Evan Almighty.'' If anyone installs the app, they can hear phrases like "Accident reported ahead. I'll get a line to emergency command'' in Morgan's voice.
Comingsoon.net has given a review of the upcoming movie ''London has Fallen'' and mentioned that Freeman who has played the role of Vice President of the United States Trumbull can be heard on the GPS app Waze.
This app recommends the fastest routes and is relied upon by many cab and taxi drivers across the globe. Autoblog talks about the fact that Google did not pay Freeman for recording his voice in this app.
Apparently this was more to do with the publicity of the sequel of 2013's ''Olympus has Fallen'' which was released on Mar. 4, 2016. There is another nice feature of this app. Morgan's voice addresses the drivers as if they are the President of the United States.
Idigital time talks that the drivers always wanted to hear Freeman's voice on this app. It also talks about the steps how to download this app to your smart device. So will this app be used by more drivers now since God's own voice is recorded in it?
