Charlie Hunnam is sad he can't join the others in the "Sons Of Anarchy" Prequel.
The actor was one of the few that confirmed that there would be a prequel series in the works but it looks like he isn't going to be part of it. He reportedly won't be making a comeback as Jax Teller as fans had hoped he would.
“I put everything I had into that show. I lived it as much as I could,” Hunnam explained on Inquisitr. “I never got in a car the whole seven years. I was only on my bike and rolling around with a bunch of real bikers and occasionally acting like a maniac.”
While he fully immersed himself in the whole experience, considering he had been with the series for seven season already, he had to face the fact that it was the end of the road. His character, Jax Teller, was killed off in the finale of "Sons Of Anarchy" season 7.
“But saying good-bye to the character was a motherfucker," the actor added. "As stupid as it sounds, it really felt like a genuine bereavement, because he was this guy that I loved and hung out with constantly for seven years."
“It was a lot tears for, like, two or three weeks, every time I thought about it. Then one day, I woke up and was like, ‘Okay, it’s time to move on. RIP, Jax Teller.'”
Another factor as to why Hunnam would most likely not be making an appearance in the "Sons Of Anarchy" prequel is because it takes place years before his character's brith. It doesn't make sense that he makes an appearance another character, Jax's father John Teller, will be allegedly the main star of the new series. However, fans are hoping that Hunnam makes an appearance and would most probably take on a new character, as reported by Parent Herald.
The release date for the "Sons Of Anarchy" prequel has not yet been announced.
