Tris and Four are back in the second installment of the "Divergent" franchise, titled "Insurgent". The first adaptation proved to be one of the most popular new Hollywood franchises of 2014, grossing more than $150 million at the domestic box office. The trailer released last Friday gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect to the Veronica Roth adaptation.
With only three months until "Insurgent" hits theatres, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Shailene Woodley, who reprises her role of Tris Prior, along with her fellow "divergents."
"Insurgent" will pick right where it left off, showing Tris and Four (Theo James) running for their lives as they are now fugitives. Expect it to be a jam-packed action film as the 23-year-old could be seen throwing punches, jumping off the buildings, shooting guns and facing her arch nemesis, Erudite Jeanine brilliantly played by Kate Winslet. The two could be seen arguing over some mysterious box, as reported by People.
This scene caused quite a bit of confusion from those who have read the Veronica Roth novel, as the mysterious box was not mentioned in the series. The Hollywood Reporter claims that many fans had already come up with theories as to what the box is, based on what they know about the other books in the "Divergent" franchise.
In an earlier interview with Buzzfeed, Woodley explains that "Insurgent" movie might have taken a few liberties that the earlier film "Divergent" did not.
"One thing about doing this movie that feels different from the first one is that felt very mathematical. The dialogue had a certain rhythm to it so there wasn't a lot of room for changing it up. In this movie, we're adding a lot of smaller beats to the scenes that aren't necessarily on the page.."
Apart from the mysterious box, fans are also talking about the super sexy scene with Tris and Four.
"Insurgent" is scheduled for release on March 20, 2015.
