It is no secret the Cleveland Cavaliers badly needs a center who is a good rim protector. With Anderson Varejao sidelined, they need a big man-any big man and Jordan Hill is one of the candidates.
While Jordan Hill is not necessarily a shot blocker or known for his defense, Varejao is the Cavs' only center. In fact, the Brazilian is more of a power forward. Now that he's out for the season, the Cavs need a big man and Hill could be a serviceable replacement. According to Syracuse based sports publication DYST Now:

Rumored to be making moves to acquire Indiana's center Roy Hibbert, Cleveland is in hot pursuit for 'rim protectors'. Hill can provide the rebounding and energy that Varejao provides on a nightly basis. In return, the Lakers are reportedly asking for promising rookie Joe Harris and future first rounder.
Harris can provide some shooting for the Lakers and he can play off Kobe Bryant or Nick Young as an added offensive option. Losing Jordan Hill will hurt the Lakers interior but grabbing a first rounder aligns with the allegation that the Tinseltown team is already looking beyond this season.
It's a totally different picture for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Poised to win the title, critics have been bashing them left and right. With all the pressure to win now, tensions arise and the rumors are abuzz that new coach David Blatt may be the problem. ESPN has the revelation:
"There is a growing level of worry within the Cleveland Cavaliers organization about first-year coach David Blatt and his ability to reach the team, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that there is rising concern in team circles about the level of response that Blatt is getting on the floor, with Blatt himself acknowledging that the Cavaliers "lost our energy and we lost our competitiveness" in Sunday night's embarrassing home loss to Detroit."
Will this result in a coaching change as well?
